VVG, VVGng, VVGngd
POWER CABLES WITH COPPER CURRENT-CONDUCTING CORE
B – Polyvinyl chloride plastic insulation
B – Polyvinyl chloride plastic shell
D – Lack of protective covering over armor or shell (“bare”)
VVHng – Does not spread combustion
VVHngd – Does not spread combustion with low gas and smoke emission
The cables are designed for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations at an alternating voltage of 0.3/0.5 kV or 0.6/1 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz. Cables with a nominal voltage of 0.3/0.5 kV can be used for electrical systems of 0.38/0.66 kV.
Cables are designed for laying in dry and wet production premises, on overpasses, in blocks, as well as for laying in the open air.
VVG brand cables are intended for single laying. Cables of the VVHng brand are intended for laying in conditions that require non-spreading of cable burning when laying in bundles. Cables of the VVGngd brand are designed for laying in conditions where non-spreading of cable burning when laying in bundles, reduced smoke emission and low toxicity of gases is required.
Cables belong to the class resistant to the spread of fire under conditions of single laying according to DSTU 4809.
APPOINTMENT
Cables of the VVGng, VVGngd brands belong to the class resistant to the spread of fire when laying in bundles according to category A according to DSTU 4809.
CONSTRUCTION
Conductive copper core, single-wire round (ok) or multi-wire round (mk), 1 or 2 flexibility class. In four-core cables, cores of class 2 with a cross section of 70-240 mm2 can be sector-shaped (ms).
Insulation of VVG, VVHng cables – polyvinyl chloride plastic; cables of the VVGngd brand – a composition of reduced fire hazard. The marking of the insulation of the wires is color (solid) or digital. Cables are available with a blue neutral core or a green-yellow grounding core.
The insulated cores of multi-core cables are twisted into a core.
Shell:
- VVG – polyvinyl chloride plastic;
- VVHng – low-flammability polyvinyl chloride plastic;
- VVHngd – composition of reduced fire hazard.
